Used for primary packaging, folding boxes provide additional benefits, and do not only protect the product during transport and storage. Folding boxes are increasingly used as advertising media and communicate brand images and product quality. Therefore, they have become more customised with regard to their function, form and degree of finishing – from embossing, to perforation, printed sheet lamination, and varnish coatings.
The appearance of products at the point of sale is enhanced with cut out windows. Highly transparent, special Jowacoll® laminating adhesives ensure an efficient assembly of cut out windows through the conventional method with plate rollers. They are also applied as a full-surface coating on the inside to provide an additional barrier function against substance migration.
