Jowat Wins “Best Managed Company Award” for Third Time in a Row

Detmold, May 17, 2022—The adhesives manufacturer Jowat has again won the coveted quality seal “Best Managed Company” in the year 2022. It is an acknowledgment for the enterprise’s strategic vision, innovative power, sustainable corporate culture and outstanding business management.

Ralf Nitschke, member of the Board of Directors, accepted the honor on behalf of Jowat SE at the awards ceremony in Düsseldorf last Thursday: “We are incredibly honored and encouraged by this renewed recognition as a best managed company. We are very pleased to have remained a flexible and dependable partner for our business associates throughout these challenging times, due to our triad strategy and our extensive activities in high-priority matters such as sustainability and digitalization.”

Jowat is one of the leading global adhesives manufacturers and a family-owned enterprise from Germany’s Mittelstand with a success-filled history spanning over 100 years. Digitalization and sustainability have been major focuses of Jowat for many years. The enterprise recently published its current sustainability report. Product development is a further driver at Jowat in addition to the establishing of future-oriented corporate processes. The “Jowat Green Adhesives” of the adhesives expert already provides a very comprehensive portfolio of sustainable adhesives for a wide range of applications.

The Best Managed Companies (BMC) program is a competition organized in Germany by Deloitte Private, Credit Suisse, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and the Federation of German Industries (BDI) for successful enterprises from Germany’s Mittelstand. The vision: Building a national and global ecosystem of outstandingly managed mid-sized firms. The international orientation is a unique characteristic of Best Managed Companies. The BMC program was established in the 1990s by Deloitte in Canada and has since been launched successfully in more than 40 countries.
