Jowapur® 681.10 – 681.60 is a product family developed specially for the manufacture of load-bearing glulam and which is certified according to EN 15425:2017. The adhesives are characterised by a good assembly time-pressing time ratio and high bonding strengths. Customers therefore benefit from higher efficiencies and product safety.
A key factor in the superior performance of Jowapur® 681.10 – 681.60 are specially developed high-tech fibres that are mixed into the adhesive in a special manufacturing process. In addition to having a reinforcing effect in the cured bondline, the fibres also facilitate a very homogenous and largely blister-free glueline by also reducing foaming during the curing process. These properties are coupled with a higher bond strength and less soiling of machines and equipment.
The Jowapur® 681.10 – 681.60 product family provides major benefits not only in laminating applications but also in fingerjointing operations in the manufacture of load-bearing timber parts. The innovative high-tech fibres minimise the risk of the bonded fingerjoints sliding apart and are adapted to the requirements for modern adhesive applicator units. Perfectly planed surfaces facilitate thinner gluelines and lower adhesive application amounts. Processors therefore can manufacture bonded load-bearing timber parts in highly efficient and sustainable processes.
Adhesives from the product family Jowapur® 681.10 – 681.60 do not contain formaldehyde or solvents, and are odourless and emission-free when fully cured.
Jowapur® 681.xx is a joint-filling, fibre-reinforced one-component adhesives series based on polyurethane with an optimal fibre geometry. It cures with wood moisture and/or ambient humidity to create a water-insoluble resin, and is used for manufacturing load-bearing timber.
