The target is here not only the “What“ – in this case meaning the high-quality filling and finishing of the timber defect – but always also the “How“ – meaning the process reliability of all components and substrates. The engineering technology, but also the products subsupplied, like for instance the adhesive repair compound, need to provide their input to the final goal, tailored for the production targets, to warrant the potential for a more efficient manufacture of the desired end product. This requires first of all commitment from all sides. But commitment alone is not enough, the interdisciplinary know- how by experts, and the competence of team and project management must complete the contribution of all to create added value.
