Close cooperation is the key to success Process synchronisation, the main cha- racteristic of Industry 4.0, can only be achieved by interlinking all companies participating in the production and lo- gistics processes. Subsuppliers, ma- chinery manufacturers, software provi- ders and sales departments need to be integrated more into the technical part of manufacturing and in the exchange of information. Creating standards is essential to facilitate the close coope- ration required, but unfortunately also a long process. The exemplary integra- tion platform, like “M2M Teledesk” de- veloped by CLAAS and VIVAI, allows an immediate launch. The platform gathers information from the different systems and converts them into a technically interoperable format to be interlinked to each other. This also pro- vides a solution for another issue. For years, companies tried to keep their knowledge and information secret at all costs and now they are supposed to Industry 4.0 06
