Product Description

One of the oldest applications in industrial furniture manufacturing and in interior finishing is the wrapping of profiles with different materials. Hot melt adhesives based on ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) have been available since the 1960s already. Compared with EVA hot melts, hot melt adhesives based on polyolefin (PO) provide a higher heat resistance, superior oxidation stability and a wider range of adhesion. Those benefits have made them a widely established choice. Jowat-Toptherm® 224.00 is an unfilled polyolefin hot melt adhesive with high yield for profile wrapping in the furniture and interior finishing industry. The adhesive is characterised by a low melting temperature range therefore optimum
melting performance.

At the same time, it meets increased requirements for heat resistance. The broad spectrum of adhesion of Jowat-Toptherm® 224.00 facilitates the bonding of decor papers, finish foils and thermoplastic foils.

Key benefits
• Clean processing due to high oxidation stability
• Reduced adhesive consumption due to low density
• Optimised melting speed
• High heat resistance
• Broad range of adhesion
