Insight Into the Jowat History: A Fundamental Change at the Jowat Group

A fundamental change took place in early 2003: The Jowat Group, a loose association of companies, became Jowat AG (since 2015 Jowat SE – Societas Europaea / European Stock Corporation). The “organisational streamlining of the Jowat enterprise” was aimed at increasing internal transparency and safeguarding the international success of the business. The tried and proven ownership structure was maintained: To this day, the Depenbrock and Frank families hold 50 % of the shares each. The photo shows the new main office building finished in 2001. The only department that remained at the old site in the city centre was the Technical Lab.
