C. Information concerning the processing of data

Purpose of the processing operation:
In accordance with occupational safety regulations, participants in adhesive trials must complete an instruction. The contact details of customers taking part in customer trials in the House of Technology are collected for the purpose of organizing, carrying out and documenting the instruction, the latter especially within the framework of the regular auditing of JOWAT SE. In addition, the license number of the car belonging to the participant is collected for the purpose of parking space management and to remove disruptions.

Legitimate interest of the data controller:
The data is being processed based on the legitimate interest of the data controller to ensure a smooth availability of its own parking space, remove disruptions and inform visitors in case of disruptions.

Legal basis of the processing operation:
Organizing, carrying out and documenting the instruction of visitors: The instruction is carried out to meet the legal duties of the data controller arising from section 6(2) of DGUV provision 1, section 8(2) of the German Act on Occupational Health and Safety (Arbeitsschutzgesetz, ArbSchG). Completion of the instruction is documented to verify compliance with the specified legal provisions. The legitimate interest in this processing operation arises from Article 6(1) point (c) fo the GDPR in conjunction with the aforementioned legal provisions.

Parking space management: The data is being processed based on the legitimate interest of the data controller to ensure a smooth availability of its own parking space, remove disruptions and inform visitors in case of disruptions.

Internal (employees in the House of Technology, Technical Support and Service, internal auditors)

Transfer of data to third countries:
A transfer to third countries is not planned.

 

D. Additional information duties:

Retention period of personal data:
The data will be erased 2 years after the date on which it was first collected.

Rights of the data subject:
You have the right to obtain access (acc. to Article 15 of the GDPR) to your personal data from the the data controller and the right to rectification (Article 16 GDPR), erasure (Article 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Article 18(1) GDPR). In addition, you have a right to object to processing (Article 21 GDPR) and the right to data portability (Article 20 GDPR).

Right to lodge a complaint:
You have a right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

Duty to provide the personal data, consequences of failure to provide such data:
The provision of contact details is required to meet the legal obligations of the controller. Taking part in trials is not possible without the provision of this data.

Parking space management: There is no legal obligation for the provision of the data for parking space management. However, provision of such data is also in the interest of the data subject, for example to be able to inform them in case of disruptions (e.g. flooding of the parking space).

Automated decision-making:
There is no automated decision-making or profiling.
