Insight Into the Jowat History: The High-Bay Warehouse

Within three decades, annual production volume grew from 6,000 to over 22,000 tonnes. After the catastrophic fire in 1994, Jowat quickly built a replacement of the most modern design. Thus, a high-bay warehouse with a height of approx. 24 m as well as 2,400 pallet spaces was built and has since marked the appearance of the manufacturing location in Detmold. In the year 2000, offices in Detmold were relocated from the old location in the city centre into a new administrative building – the “House of Bonding” – built on the same site like the production facilities.
