Lim för fönsterprofiler
I dagens läge väntar vi oss att moderna fönster eller ytterdörrar ska hålla kring 25 till 40 år. Under denna tid ska fönster och dörrar fungera utan problem och se bra ut, vilket betyder att folielaminat och limsystemet inte ska separera från PVC- eller aluminiumprofilen även om påfrestningarna på grund av väderförhållanden är extrema.
PUR-smältlim har redan i decennier visat sig vara mycket lämpade för laminering av fönsterprofiler. Kontinuerlig vidareutveckling av folier som används, ständigt ökande utbud av material och dekor samt minskad lagringstid för profilerna efter laminering – alla dessa faktorer medför större utmaningar för limmet. Därför behöver vi i dagens läge lim som fäster vid många olika material med snabb härdning, vilket möjliggör omedelbar efterbehandling av laminerade profiler.
Primer
En primer har två huvudsyften:
1. Rengöra profilytan genom att lösa upp vanligen opolära främmande material på ytan från PVC-sammansättningen eller som utvecklats under extrudering.
2. Förbättra profilytans fysiska vidhäftningsförmåga genom svällning/lätt upplösning och/eller genom att ändra ytpolariteten för att förbättra vidhäftningsförmågan.
